The Marmalade Method is for you!
Payment can be spread across 6 months.
Every month you will focus on a different aspect of your setting. You will be able to access recorded training videos and useful documents that will boost your practice.
You will also join a private chat group where you can ask questions and receive instant support from me and other settings on the Marmalade Method programme.
You can work through the full month of training sessions each month and at the end of the 6 month, you’ll have an extra month to catch up on anything that you missed.
This programme will take you on a journey with me to enhance your setting, embed your practice and inspire your staff.
Each month, you will:
- Join a live training session via Zoom. The session is also recorded for you.
- Have a full programme of on-demand video training sessions.
- Your whole team can access the sessions.
- You’ll receive a video training session to use as a staff meeting each month as well as downloadable documents to support your practice.
- Receive documents and files such as forms and safeguarding scenarios to support your practice.
- Receive monthly and weekly video messages from me to set up the week ahead and keep you on track.
- Complete an online workbook of challenges and homework to develop your practice.
- Access to a private chat group on Facebook so that you can exchange ideas and thoughts with others in the community.
- Your management team can complete the training alongside the practitioners in each age group.
- Every month, there will be voluntary ‘homework’ tasks to complete that will help you turn the training into reality in your setting.
- Together, we can share ideas and knowledge in order to support each other along the way.
The 5th cohort of The Marmalade Method starts this October 2025 and I am limiting it to a small group of settings so that I can offer that personal touch.

Month 3 Enabling Environments:
- Creating environments that are warm, nurturing and foster a sense of belonging.
- Creating spaces for communication, relaxation and movement.
- Understanding how to create environments that allow children to self-regulate and develop independence.
- Understanding the need for strong relationships between staff, children and families.
- A focus on creating a stimulating outdoor environment on a budget.
- Developing the role of the adult and strong adult-child interactions.
- Looking closely at resources-what should we provide and why?

- Baby Room Practitioner Training
- Intimate care and feeding-developing meaningful policies and procedures

Month 5 Toddler Room Practice:
