Schools Training
I am a qualified teacher with over 25 years of experience working in schools as a class teacher, SENCO and EYFS unit lead. I have also worked as an Early Years Ofsted Inspector, giving me a deep understanding of what high-quality provision looks like in practice. I partner with schools in the UK and worldwide, including Dulwich College Singapore and Wellington College Shanghai.
I deliver training and consultancy that blends research with practical strategies that staff can use straight away. My sessions are interactive, dynamic and designed to help teachers feel confident and inspired, with children’s wellbeing and learning at the heart of everything.

- Working with 2-Year-Olds – building confidence, independence and play for the youngest learners in schools
Whole-School Training: Understanding Children’s Behaviour
In addition to EYFS training, I deliver whole-school training that reframes behaviour through the lens of child development and wellbeing. These sessions explore:
- Connection, belonging and relationships
- Emotion coaching and self-regulation
- Sensory processing and sensory circuits
- The importance of movement, play and dopamine hits
- Fun and joy as drivers of learning and behaviour
- Staff wellbeing and reflective practice
When teachers and practitioners focus on connection and developing a child’s self-esteem, independence and confidence, they see a powerful impact on behaviour and learning. Nationally, the emphasis on academic ability has sometimes meant relationships are not given enough attention, and the way children play has changed. This training will leave your staff feeling empowered to place children back at the centre of their work. Happy children mean happy teachers.
Consultancy Visits
Alongside training, I offer bespoke consultancy visits in schools. These sessions focus on:
- Reviewing and developing learning environments
- Strengthening curriculum design and delivery
- Supporting high-quality interactions and staff practice
- Embedding play, creativity and independence across the EYFS
- Tailoring provision for 2-year-olds, who are increasingly joining school-based nurseries
Visits combine observation, coaching and practical recommendations, leaving schools with clear next steps that feel achievable and impactful.
